We have been serving the businesses of Abbeville County since 1982! Having a Chamber membership can make your business more visible in the community, as well as connecting you with a network of fellow business owners. Being a member of the Chamber gives your business a boost of credibility and provides you with the resources you need to be successful.

Business Spotlight Program– each week the Chamber will feature a member business as its “Business of the Week” Member businesses will be randomly chosen and will receive a free ad in the local newspaper “Press & Banner” as well as a radio spot for the week on WZLA-FM. This helps make your business more visible in the community and is a members-only perk!

Advertising Opportunities-Members can be featured on our social media, in our digital newsletter, and on our marquee board.

Ribbon Cuttings – what better way is there to announce your new business than a ribbon cutting! For our members, we will help you coordinate a special ribbon cutting, publicize the event on our Facebook page and website as well as in our weekly “Community Connections” e-mail publication. 

Networking Opportunities – being able to connect with your peers and the community is a crucial part of owning a business. We offer several monthly programs with the goal of making your business more visible. The Brew is our monthly morning meeting where we feature a local entrepreneur as our speaker, and we also offer monthly Business After Hours events, which are held on location at a member business from 5-7pm after work.

Resources-Members have access to partnerships like WeShopSC, a statewide digital sales platform that puts your business in front of all South Carolina. Join the Abbeville Market!

Distribution of Business Information - Members have the opportunity to display information about their business at the Chamber of Commerce and Welcome Center. Visitors to your Chamber find your business cards, brochures, flyers, menus etc. This is a privilege that is exclusive to members.

Membership Directory – Your business and contact information will be listed in our Membership Directory that is available on our website. Last year, our Directory had over 100,000 views!

Visitor and Relocation Packages – the Chamber also functions as the County Welcome Center, so we send visitor and relocation packages to anyone who requests them. This information is also located on our website…when people are directed to OUR site they will find YOUR site, too!

Chamber Building Usage – as a member you can use our building free of charge! Our tables and chairs are also available for rental. Both are on a reservation basis and there is a space use agreement required.
