Get ready to have a BLAST this summer at Abbeville County’s annual Freedom Blast, a July 4th celebration set on the scenic shores of Lake Russell. This free, family-friendly event brings the community together for an evening of lakeside fun, local food vendors, and activities for all ages. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, find your perfect spot on the water or along the shore, and enjoy the festive summer atmosphere.

As the sun sets, the night wraps up with a spectacular fireworks show lighting up the lake and the sky. Whether you’re boating, floating, or relaxing on land, Freedom Blast is one of Abbeville County’s favorite ways to celebrate Independence Day and make unforgettable summer memories.
